Price match Target items with the online price on the target website.

On most stores price labels there is a little explanation of how much it costs per oz like this one below(this one is Safeways). That pretty much is Product ➗ Cost

When trying to figure out which is more bang for your buck look at this instead of how much they cost cause you could be spending more money per amount of food your getting. Even if the overall cost of the item is less.

Ps. don't buy something just because its on sale.
